My name is Sergio Galvan and I have opened this law firm to help the people of Cameron County navigate through complex legal issues.

I grew up a migrant student living in Florida, Virginia, and my hometown Brownsville, Texas. My family settled down in Brownsville once I started high school. I graduated from James Pace High School with a full scholarship to UTRGV. I graduated from UTRGV with a Government degree, but I always knew I wanted to go to law school. I received admission and graduated from St. Mary’s School Of Law in San Antonio focusing my studies in Criminal Law. During law school I was part of the Criminal Justice Clinic where I defended indigent defendants.

I knew I needed trial experience to be a great attorney, so I started working for the Cameron County District Attorney’s Office. I handled thousands of cases ranging from misdemeanors such as DWI’s, Assaults, and Thefts to 1st degree felonies. I have gone to trial on 1st degree felonies such as Aggravated Assaults involving Deadly Weapons and Continuous Sexual Abuse of Children. I have also worked on family law cases such CPS cases. I also have trial experience in family law cases.

I have a proven track record and always strive to be the best attorney in the courtroom. I truly believe in hard work and treating people with the respect they deserve. I am ready to represent you.
